Unstampabelles Challenge #20 - Use a Doily
Any form of paper creation will be accepted as long as NO STAMPS (Digital or Rubber) have been used.

IDEAS: quilling, parchment, stickers, boxes, books, cards, scrap pages, etc

You can find our rules here for further information.

A reminder......we have been seeing a lot more images on cards with a few embellishments added.  We would really like to see these images manipulated in some way......Decoupage/3D Paper Tole. Thanks.

Our sponsor this month is Cardmaking Online which is an Australian online only business - by not having a retail store, they avoid significant costs such as rent and electricity which enables them to bring you quality products at the lowest possible prices.  They have a wonderful range of cardmaking kits, dies, peel-off stickers, parchment craft materials and much more. Cardmaking Online is sponsoring us with a $25.00 gift certificate as our prize for this months challenge.

Time for some inspiration and first to share is:-

Pooja our Guest Designer this month.  Pooja was very excited to create this card as it is her first ever time on as a Guest Designer.  What a wonderful creation she has come up with.  You can find out more details about this card on Pooja's blog Reusing with Quilling.

This elegant creation is from Cathy who has used the doily to create the dress on this wonderful card. The bodice is a sticker attached to white card stock. Visit Cathy's Creative Corner for more details.

This great shaped card is from JanR who has misted the doily and used as the background to alpha stickers, dies and ribbon.  Visit JanR's blog Huh. So this is a blog for more details.

JessicaT has dug deep in her stash to find this beautiful heart doily to which she has attached Adornit lettering, seam binding ribbon and paper flowers.  Visit JessicaT's blog - Bits and Pieces for more details

Lauren has used three of the cutest mini crocheted doilies on her layout along with a lot of items from Kaisercraft.  Visit Lauren's blog Let's Get Messy for more details.

Merry has used her doily as a background to this layered flower creation.  Finished the card off with a beaded pin, torn paper leaves and a rub-on sentiment.  You can find more details on Merry's blog - MerryMade Cards and Crafts

Sarah has used such wonderful bright colours on her creation with rub-on flowers and sentiment.  She has used her doily to add ruffles and texture to the card.  Find out more details on Sarah's blog - Paper Pie.

Susan has used a different technique to add her doily. Susan has used her Copic air system with three complimentary colours to spray over a doily....then removed to reveal this lovely pattern. You can find out more details on Susan's blog - Time to Play.

Beth gives a great example of how we like to see any images that are added to creation entries for our challenge.  Her image is a Holly Hobby 3D Paper Tole.  Beth has cut her doily in half to create a wonderful background for this card.  Visit Beth's blog - HuggiesCrafts for more details.

Now it is your turn to find your doilies and start creating.

Two reminders for our challenges.
1. No stamps - rubber or digital
2. If adding an image please have fun and alter it in some way.
